A recent gathering in Madrid brought together religious representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to celebrate the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The meeting included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and Denise González. Speakers offered reflections from faith, culture and public service on how education can strengthen coexistence.
In the discussion, participants considered themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s focus on human dignity and social betterment. Ivan Arjona, representative Diversity of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, said that cultural and religious diversity is a value for society when rooted in respect for human rights.
